This picture was taken at Mt. Tom during George and Ruth Aldrich's honeymoon. They are the couple on the left. I believe the man on the right was the best man and his wife. I do not know their names but am quite sure they were not family and not from Granville. I will try to get their names.

I confirmed with my cousin that the other couple on the right is Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Miller of Granville.

The identy of the people named in the description is clearly wrong. The couple on the left is George and Ruth Aldrich taken at Mt. Tom soon after their wedding. The couple on the right is Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Miller of Granville.

Sorry, but I have another correction. I recently read through my grandfather George Aldrich's diary and found this entry from Sep. 2, 1909: "Went to Mt. Tom with Ruth, Milo Miller and Alice Treat." Someone added: "We have the photo." Now I am pretty sure they are the two in the picture. Besides, Gilbert Miller was Milo's father and too old to have been in this photo.
