These water troughs used to be marked on the old maps of Granville in the late 1800&#039;s to show travelers where they could water their horses along the roads of Granville. <br />
There used to be a water trough along the gorge road, now Rt. 57, which was sometimes mistaken by modern travelers as an abandoned still!]]></dcterms:description>
