Dickinson Reunions, 1906 to 1925

Title

Dickinson Reunions, 1906 to 1925

Description

Records from 1906-1925 reunions of descendants of Bevel Dickinson. Most were held in or near Granville. Includes lists of attendees and their signatures.

The 1906 reunion included all living descendants of Bevel Dickinson. They went to the Dickinson mill, where they were weighed on the mill scale. The 29 people in attendance weighed in at 2837 pounds in total. As a testament to hard-working life in 1906 the heaviest Dickinson was Oliver who came in at a mere 156 pounds.

In a twist of Granville fate the 1909 Dickinson family reunion was held on August 20th, the same day Granville's Harry Holcomb lost his life in the first fatal racing accident at the new Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Second PDF is loose pages in the reunion book. Note page with signatures next to what appears to be years of birth.
