Benjamin F. Jones (1847-1915)
Benjamin F. Jones was a major contributor to Granville's historic archives during the late 1800's and early 1900's.<br /><br />He was born in West Granville on Christmas Day 1847 and died on February 20, 1915.<br /><br />Among his significant contributions is what is known as the "Ben Jones Map" which was created around some time between 1900 and 1911. The map shows the locations of over 300 Granville structures including houses, businesses, ruins and cellar holes. <br /><br />The Ben Jones map is at <a href="https://granvillehistory.omeka.net/items/show/1508">THIS LINK</a>
